HARRY POTTER AND THE HALF-BLOOD PRINCE!!!
Yes, I have seen it already. And I  must say something... it is BLEAK. And not only the storytelling... the bloody illuminations iS BLEAK. But I must say if Cinematography does not earn an Academy Nomination I'll be pretty pissed. Also, I was BLOODY DISTRACTED by home MANY SCENES differ from the book. And I'll enumerate some of them in no particular order:

The beginning. NOT DURSLEYS. Not Prime Minister OR Minister for Magic. So no Scrimgeur... although we get a nice opening of Ollivander being kidnapped and the bridge falling down.

And most surprisingly, while it had the class Harry Potter logo coming out of clouds... WHERE THE HECK WAS HEDWIG'S SONG!!!

Sectumsempra scene was made of awesome yet NO MIRTLE and maybe I am deaf but I certainly didn't here Draco attempting to cast CRUCIO on Harry.  Nonverval Crucio? I think NOT!

And Snape wasn't bloody singing the counterspell!!! Not that I except Alan Rickman to sing like Andrea Bocelli but still, some chanting would be nice. And no, I don't count whatever he was doing as chanting exactly...

That said... once again they were a number of invented spells was huuuuuge.

And didn't Draco went to Borgin & Burkes alone? Why suddenly with his mum and an entourage of Death Eaters?

NO GAUNTS. BOOOHOOO! ;____:

Harry/Ginny kiss... that is SO NOT how it happened!!! And since when was she so involved in the plot besides being the reason for Harry's "chest monster" existence :P

And about Hayr/AnyGirls relationship... maybe my mind is getting deffective but I sure as hell don't remember Harry flirting with random (although admittedly pretty) waitresses in the book. Or getting any interested in Romilda Vane's flirty eyes on libraries?

And the Burrow was not attacked on HP6 right? Wasn't it only attacked on the Fleur/Bill wedding? Not that you would know they were together in this book :P

Also, I saw what you did there Kloves. Implying that Remus is with Tonks now? "Sweetheart"? BLEURGH! Then again, at least it moves like a normal relationship development instead of Tonks being all pathetic, needy and pushy.

Man, the Xmas SLug Party was so rushed. Not even a moment to see the vampire XD. And man, Corman was way more interested in Hermione than in the book...

And Lavender... man, girl, get a grip! Don't be such a overbearing girlfriend! I know she was annoying in the book but she wasn't so infantile and annoying!!!!

Also, there were a lot of people who should not be there for the Potions Class.

And was NARCISSA (hello McGonagall's little sister) the one who speaks the conditions for the Unbreakable Bow instead of Bellatrix?

NO TRELAWNY!!! BOOHOOO!!!

And why that discussion between Dumbles and Snape occurred on the Astronomy Tower for Harry to overhear?

Was Harry pulled underwater in the Cave? Man, that part just made me think of how many ways that whole scene made me think of The Lord of the Rings.

Dumbledore and Harry did not apparate to the cave and back. They used BROOMSTICKS!

And how come Harry was not petrified and under the Invisibility Cloak? He just stood there? And Snape was all "shush" and Harry "reckless Harry" did as he was told? By Snape?

And what the heck was Bella doing there????

And I know it was PG but men, they could have made that scene of Dumbledore's dead not so rushed.

And no drama at all!!! Where are the Order members and DA there fighting Death Eaters as they flee the scene? And dear Rickman, I totally blame the script because if there were more action around you could have said your "I'M NOT A COWARD" or screamed your "I, THE HALF BLOOD PRINCE" lines. Damn.

WHAT? NO FREAKING FUNERAL?!?!?!?!? At least not for Dumbles, Aragog got his :P

But it did have some wonderful parts!!! Like:

That kid who played teen!TomRiddle... AWESOME! I loved how he controlled his face for acting. Very British. XD

They were sprinkles here and there played for laughs that did work and reminded me how after all they were teenagers XD

Once more... I liked the Sectumsempra scene... it was totally awesome!!!! From Draco's crying to their little fight.

Also, yeah, Radclife's acting is way better :P

Man, I liked that Potions class despite all the extra people. And Hermione's hair actually look like Hermione's hair XD

Ron's silly acting was good too XD Bit exaggerated too but also funny.

Draco or rather Tom was absolutely wonderful!!!!

As was Helena/Bellatrix even if she did have a mayor role than she should have XD

Oh, dear Snape you were played for laughs once but I still loved you XD

Technically it was a good movie. The pace was a bit off though. Slow at parts, rushed at others. I totally blame the script first and editing second. It was a good directorial work though. And about the changes, I know it was made so the cuts made sense but still... from what I overheard, the people who didn't read the book were a bit lost. If not A LOT, in some cases. Also, this movie does not look very commercial. In fact, despite the funny parts, it was quite doom and gloom and obviously a transition movie. I liked it though. Not loved it. But like it. I'll go watch it again in a week or so.
